Presidents Note:

Statement of Special Interest to GDCWNY Members & Potential Members

To all GDCWNY (Great Dane Club of Western New York) Members & Future Members. Our Club membership has dropped dramatically, some of the reasons for this drop are now in the past. Here is the bottom line concerning the club’s staying ALIVE: If Active Membership is not put back into play by 10\1\10 it is the potential loss of the GDCWNY Club. After our back to back specialties in Sept. if we are not back on track the club will be put into Suspension. Under this action the club may still hold meetings but will not be able to put on shows or some of the special things that have been a part of the past. WE NEED ACTIVE –NEW- OLD & RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS. The bottom line is there are a handful of members keeping us alive now. It is time for some of them to get a break; also some are dealing with other issues that make it impossible for them to continue to be active now. The club wants everyone to know where it stands. It would be a shame to see such an old & valuable club be lost. Suspension will only buy us a little time to fix the problem.

THANK YOU

Doree Richter President
