GDC of WNY Constitution and ByLaws Section 4. Membership Requirements-
Prospective members shall be required to have attended t least (3) regular meetings of the club in the twelve (12) months prior to the submission of their application and the consideration of their application(s)by the Board of Directors. The annual Specialty Show of the Great Dane Club of Western New York, Inc. is not considered a meeting for the purpose of meeting membership requirements.
-At the next Board of Directors meeting following publication, the application will be voted upon and the affirmative votes of the majority of the Board members present and voting at that meeting shall be required to elect the applicant. Applications for membership shall be subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
-Applicants for membership who have been rejected by the club may not reply within six months after such rejection.
-Application for reinstatement after being dropped from membership rolls for non-payment of dues must be accompanied to a $10.00 (ten dollar) fee and dues for the current year. This application must be approved by the Board of Directors as a new application, without the requirement of attending meetings.
-Application for membership may be approved by the Board of Directors without regard to the meeting attendance requirements, if applicants are non-residents of the State of New York.
